Our island home, affectionately nicknamed “Helen of The West” in comparison to “Helen of Troy” was battled for over a century, changing hands between the British and the French a total of 14 times. The British conquered and we became a British Colony with notable French influence. Years later we became independent but still remain part of the British Commonwealth.
We are located 14˚N and 61˚W of the equator, creating the perfect tropical environment for lush, green hills and valleys surrounded by white and black sand beaches. The fairest isle of all the earth is known for her world heritage site The Pitons and the warmth of her people.
